"I am a medical cannabis patient and am curious to know if I can put my medical marijuana (weed) or the THC from it, into an electronic cigarette (e cig) cartridge, in order to vaporize it through out the day"
Yes, and Yes.
You have a few options when it comes to making a THC E-cig cartridge. First of all, if you're a CA medical marijuana patient, you can order them pre-filled via the link on our home page or here. But that option aside, the way you create your cartridge has a lot to do with your intent.
If your goal is for a NO ODOR whatsoever option, even at the cost of the THC amount - you must infuse E-Liquid. Our best suggestion is get organic, ZERO nicotine E-liquid from someone i.e. http://www.velvetcloudvapor.com , which is an artisinal electronic cigarette liquid maker that sells both small, flavored batches, as well as large jugs. You can either use actual plant matter, or much better - a concentrate, i.e. hash oil, etc. You'll want to use a cheese cloth or something to this affect, as well as a long period of time over low heat to infuse the THC and Cannabanoids into the E-Liquid. Because all natural E-Liquid uses only Vegetable Glycerin, it takes to THC quite readily.
After straining and filtering, you will have electronic cigarette liquid you can put into either a tank or cartridge and use with your battery. If you need a battery, consider the Gentleman's Ambassador Kit. You will have a completely discreet medicated E-Cigarette, with only the odor of the E-Liquid itself (some are quite tasty, i.e. chocolate, blueberry). The 'intensity' of the effects will be lighter than smoking. Some people prefer this for day use. Because you're inhaling vapor, this option is very popular for those avoiding smoke, i.e. cancer patients wanting to avoid the dramatic effects of eating marijuana.
If your goal however is to USE YOUR E-CIG battery that you already own to 'smoke' or 'vaporize' your plant matter in dry herb form, or have no access to concentrates - you can look at the Dry Herb Cartridges. These are threaded to fit with any Gentleman's Battery OR eGo threaded battery (i.e. Joyetech, Vision, etc.) These cartridges are made for loose leaf. The effects will be very similar to smoking, as far as THC experience, however it will be nowhere near as discreet. If left unmixed, while in small controlled bits there will still be the odor of marijuana. For those avoiding public stigma, this may not be the route to go - however it is popular among those at home or on the go looking for an 'ashless, battery powered' smoking alternative. This is especially handy because the cartridges themselves are disposable.
The third, and in our opinion best option (albeit not realistic for everyone) is to use the Concentrate Atomizers, which will attach to ANY 510 threaded E-Cig battery. These are essentially wickless, no solder atomizers made for vaporing concentrates. This is the best option for a variety of reasons: Cannabis Concentrates generally have a much less familiar odor than dry cannabis itself. Furthermore, MUCH LESS is needed to be used (hence a much smaller cartridge size, and amount of 'puffs' to achieve the same goal in medication.) The affect is a strong buzz, only maybe a little different to some than when using dry herb, a much more discreet smell, and the ability to use a very small battery such as our micro vape pictured just above this paragraph.
